I definitely need more motivation and more willpower. Camping was good, went on a good hike and canoeing and beach walks, but I really need to get my act together.

i feel like i’ve made no progress. ugh I KNOW things would be so much easier if I had a gym membership. i just have to get back into insanity and running, but lately I’ve been stressed for school, therefore stress eating.

I’m too excited for summer because that’s when the big changes will for SURE be happening (free membership).
Just need to get my stuff together, heellppp :(

1. Protein
Avocadoes provide all 18 essential amino acids necessary for the body to form a complete protein. Unlike the protein in steak, which is difficult for most people to digest, avocado protein is readily absorbed by the body because avocadoes also contain fiber. If you are trying to cut down on animal sources of protein in your diet, or if you are a vegetarian, vegan or raw foodist seeking more protein, avocadoes are a great nutritional ally to include not merely as an occasional treat, but as a regular part of your diet.
2. Beneficial Fats
Avocadoes provide the healthy kind of fat that your body needs. Like olive oil, avocadoes boost levels of HDL (the “good” cholesterol). HDL cholesterol can help protect against the damage caused by free radicals. This type of cholesterol also helps regulate triglyceride levels, preventing diabetes. A study published early this year in theCanadian Medical Association Journal found that a vegetarian diet, which includes HDL fats, can reduce levels of LDL (the “bad” cholesterol) as effectively as statin drugs.
3. Carotenoids
Avocadoes are an excellent source of carotenoids. Although many people associate carotenoids only with red and orange produce, avocadoes are also an excellent source of this phytonutrient. Avocadoes, also known as alligator pears, offer a diverse range of carotenoids including not only the better known ones such as beta-carotene, alpha-carotene and lutein, but also lesser known varieties of this type of phytonutrient such as neoxanthin, zeaxanthin, chrysanthemaxanthin, neochrome, beta-cryptoxanthin and violaxanthin. Every time you consume foods rich in carotenoids, you deliver high quality vitamin A to your body, thereby protecting eye health. Carotenoids also enhance the functioning of the immune system and promote healthy functioning of the reproductive system. Since carotenoids are fat soluble, eating avocadoes optimizes the absorption of these nutrients.
4.Anti-Inflammatory
The combined effect of the deluxe package of nutrients contained in avocadoes offers powerful anti-inflammatory benefits. Avocadoes’ unique combination of Vitamins C and E, carotenoids, selenium, zinc, phytosterols and omega-3 fatty acids helps guard against inflammation. This means avocadoes can help prevent or mitigate against both osteo- and rheumatoid arthritis.
5. Heart Health
The fat content, which causes some uninformed health “experts” to deem avocadoes as unhealthy, actually provides protection against heart diseases. Studies have shown that oleic acid improves cardiovascular health. Oleic acid is the primary fatty acid in avocadoes. Many people now take supplements in order to consume more omega-3 fatty acids to lower their risk of heart disease. Avocadoes are rich in omega-3, delivering 160 milligrams per cup of alpha-linolenic acid.

8-years ago, CHP Officer Kevin Briggs talked this young man out of jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. That young man’s name is Kevin Berthia. Today he is 30 years old and married with 2 children. This week he presented Officer Briggs with an award on behalf of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The story of how Officer Briggs talked Kevin down is remarkable. As you can see in the picture, Kevin is literally one step away from jumping to his death. But for more than hour, the officer listened to Kevin pour his heart out about his troubles and told him, “I know you think things are bad, but they can get better.”Kevin says, “Officer Briggs never made me feel guilty for the situation I was in. He made feel like, I understand why you are here, but there are alternatives”Kevin is just one of countless lives Briggs has saved over his 23 year career.Briggs, who was promoted to Sergeant five years ago, is humble about what he does. He says, ”they make the decision, when they step back over that rail it takes a tremendous amount of courage”I salute Sergeant Briggs!Photo: The San Francisco Chronicle, John Storey

This post contradicts itself so much, haha. especially the highlited part.
tumblr isn’t generally much of a happy place. it’s so negative and hypocritical it’s insane.
as much as people on tumblr say how much they loce the tumblr community, they cant practice what they preach in real life.
tumblr has a bad attitude that I’m sick of.
“peasant”
“out of my way”
“fuck this fuck that  fuck you”

so quick to judge, and a lot of body hate and people hate and religion hate and culture hate and self hate.
a lot of these posts are like trends as well.
people dont share sadness, they spread it like a virus. they dont help themselves get out of sadness, it’s just never ending. no progress is really shared.
i dont even know what im talking about anymore. but just im so tired of non-fitblr and non-art tumblrs.

if you read this far, thanks, i hope you consider what I’ve said. have a good day/night

Josh Peck stated that:
“I made a conscious effort to lose weight because I knew I could be happier as well as being healthier. I started by going on a diet a year and a half ago and I got a personal trainer, but I definitely have a healthier lifestyle now. Also I feel that because I do so much television, I am a better role model. I don’t really understand why I should be a role model, but I know that kids do look up to me, so it is my responsibility to motivate people and be inspiring. I hope that I can do that for kids. It doesn’t really matter what you look like though, it is who you are that matters, of course.”
Inspiration for both males and females.
